It’s hardly a surprise to see the Seattle Seahawks viewed as the favorites to win the 2027 Super Bowl.

After all, Seattle just delivered a stellar performance in a 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LV.

FanDuel (+750) and BetMGM (+800) installed the Seahawks as solo favorites, while DraftKings listed Seattle as co-favorites (+950) with their NFC West rival, the Los Angeles Rams.

The Seahawks figure to be outstanding again next season. They fixed their quarterback situation with Sam Darnold and feature one of the top wideouts in NFL Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Running back Kenneth Walker III won Super Bowl MVP honors, the offensive line is solid, and the defense is tremendous. The Seahawks and Houston Texans had the top two defenses in the NFL.

The Rams will certainly be gunning for a Super Bowl spot with the game slated to be held in their home stadium. Quarterback Matthew Stafford, the NFL MVP, announced he’s returning for next season.

The Rams also reached the NFC title game this season before losing to the Seahawks. They figure to be a standout team again with players like receiver Puka Nacua and linebacker Byron Young.

In the AFC, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills (+1100 at DraftKings) are the top pick, with the Patriots (+1300) and Baltimore Ravens (+1300) close behind. The Kansas City Chiefs (+1500) are downgraded a bit as quarterback Patrick Mahomes recovers from his ACL tear.

San Francisco 49ers (+1700)

The 49ers (12-5) have the fifth-best odds among NFC teams and would certainly rank as a Super Bowl candidate with defensive end Nick Bosa and linebacker Fred Warner back in good health.

San Francisco was ravaged by injuries in 2025 but impressively beat the Philadelphia Eagles (+1300) in the wild-card round before being eliminated by Seattle.

Quarterback Brock Purdy is solid, and running back Christian McCaffrey stayed healthy for all 17 games and won Comeback Player of the Year honors. Tight end George Kittle must battle back from an Achilles injury and might not be ready at the outset of the season.

San Francisco won at both Seattle and Los Angeles in the regular season. Do that again next year and split home games with the pair, and the 49ers could win the division.

Denver Broncos (+1900)

The Broncos (14-3) stunningly reached the AFC title game before losing to the Patriots.

No offense to Jarrett Stidham and his effort in a tough situation, but Denver had zero chance of beating New England after losing standout quarterback Bo Nix (ankle) the week before against the Bills.

Nix’s ankle should be healed well before training camp. What he could really use is a top-flight running back, and an offseason addition at that position would bolster Denver’s title aspirations.

Even if Kansas City hadn’t slid this season, the Broncos proved they were the best team in the AFC West. Denver will be division favorites again and likely a bigger postseason threat than the Chiefs and Chargers (+1500). As for the latter, Justin Herbert is 0-3 in the playoffs.

Indianapolis Colts (+6000)

There has to be a long shot.

Nobody was predicting the Patriots, Broncos, Chicago Bears, or Jacksonville Jaguars to be among the best teams in 2025. Four teams at +6000 could be worth a look.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a new coach in Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers may play another season. The Washington Commanders were derailed by an injury to Jayden Daniels and could return to their 2024 form. The Minnesota Vikings were elite with Darnold in 2024 and may need to find a new quarterback after J.J. McCarthy failed to impress in 2025.

The Colts were 8-2 heading into their bye week, and Jonathan Taylor was one of the few running backs receiving MVP buzz. But the loss of quarterback Daniel Jones was devastating, and Indianapolis dropped its final seven games.

The Colts will run it back with Jones and rate as a solid long-shot gamble following the surprises of the 2025 season.
